- What is the typical recruitment and selection process?

First round
You will be given a skills-based interview with a suitable Line Manager or a member of the HR Team. Lasting about an hour, this part of the process will be about your functional skills for the job and teamworking skills, among other things.
Psychometric Testing
Dependant and in accordance with the skills and attributes required for each role. You might be asked to complete on-line numerical and verbal ability tests and/or a personality questionnaire. This information can help match candidates to roles. You will be able to get feedback on any psychometric tests that you complete at the end of the selection process.
Second round
This is an interview with a member of the HR team or the Line Manager (depending on who met you at the first interview) and often a more senior manager. It will look at your behavioural competencies and long-term career aspirations, as well as your understanding of the Hitachi business you wish to join.
